Practical Magic 101
So I am taking this class called Practical Magic and it is an introduction to the craft. I will be learning about the Craft, what a Witch practices, what a Ritual is and how to perform one. I will learn how to Meditate and what is evolved in meditation. I will know and understand how to use sound, colors, crystals, herbs, and oils. More specifically I will be learning about the Hermetic Teachings, what it is, the 7 principles, and how to use them in my life.
I have already had 3 classes under my belt and I am amazed at my experiences.
I have been guided into multiple meditations and I have seen various things: a large flourished Maple Tree with a carved maple bench sitting in front of the tree. To the right of the tree, is this wooden door with gold brackets and handle, that is a large study / library room filled with books. There is a large maple desk with a quill pen and bottled ink. To the left of the tree, is a wooden cabin, hand built, and inside is my Great-grandmother, Regina, whom I never met in my life, cooking a homemade meal. We sat in silence as I watched her cook a delicious meal of chicken soup. As a left she handed me a piece of jewelry and folded my fingers around the object.
At night, I was able to discover what this piece of jewelry looked like, it was a bracelet with a purple butterfly charm attached to it.
And around my Maple Tree are beautiful and bright colored butterflies. Purple, pink, orange, yellow, and blue butterflies. Though, the purple butterflies sit on my carved out bench. And I have a large shadow of a flying creature keeping an eye out on me and my areas of protection. It's a dragon. It sits in the large field near my tree and it is purple with dark purple wings (like a plum color). I am going to experience a dragon meditation and see if I can get a clear picture and connection with this dragon.
Since I was in middle school I have felt a pull towards butterflies and dragons, through pictures, jewelry, and their meanings.
I have always had personal experiences with the supernatural and have experienced things that I can't explain. I have been interested in tarot cards, palm readings, runes, and connecting to loved ones that have passed on. Going through this class it makes sense for you I am.
