Too busy to do anything
Nov. 21st, 2004 10:40 pmWell lets see its been a busy month lets just put it at that. I was placed on temperary leave at work, my supervisor teacher is leaving her job, had a scare with lice, and registering for clases next semester.
Well I am back to work now, but in the process of loooking for a new job. But I do have this important meeting coming up at work. So I am going to see how that will go. I hope things will start to change so I can stay. I just can not stand how things are run at work. There needs to be some form of discipline, but there is none. So I am hoping this will make things better for the most part.
I have been working on at least fice papers for school. Gross, I hate writing but I have to do it. Also I have been trying to come up with lesson plans that are interesting to the children. The children really enjoyed the egg experiment that I did. I am trying to find ways that are going to keep their interest and attention for a period or time. Now that I am done with those stupid papers, I now need to work on a final project. I need to make a prop box for the dramatic play area at my practicum setting. So I have been busy and trying to stay sane through it all.
My teacher thinks I have horrible writing skills. She made me feel upset and depressed. I could not believe that she would say something like that to me. Anyway I talked to a woman from Lesley University and she told me that we all have to take a writing class anyway. so that is good and I will be able to know what the teacher REALLY wants in the papers.
MY supervisor teacher at practicum is leaving and going to school. She also wants to take care of her children more so that is what she will be doing.
Also I finally hung out with Melissa. I know its amazing. WE had fun and we went shopping. Had time to talk about stuff and things. While we were at the mall I ran into Christine, Nick, Sean, and Jen. I could not believe it I was so amazed. Also I ran into Mrs. Igoe a parent from work. And another friend, Cat, that I met through Aimee.
Also just wanted to give everyone a heads up I AM DONE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY. Now I just need to wrap them all now.
