I was tagged by disneymagics to take part in the 7 from 7 meme. I don't have a WIP to use, all I have is a story I have started and its only 6 pages long. This snippet is from my story "The Family" and I hope to get back to it sometime soon.



The door opens and Jim, the doctor of the Children’s hospital, walks into the office with sadness written on his face and eyes. Christian gasps at the sight realizing the exhaustion on his supervisor’s face.

“Jim, what’s wrong?” He asks feeling his heart jumping through his chest. The look of grimace on Jim’s face doesn’t look good and he can only imagine the news he is about to hear.

“Christian, sit down, please. Everything is okay. We have a new patient coming tomorrow and her life story is heart retching.” He takes a deep breath before continuing. “Her name is Krystal, is a 12 years old. She is an only child and was raised by her mother. Sadly her mother did not care for her in an appropriate manner.” Jim states.

I have recently been reading on some friends pages about their feelings about Fandom and LJ in general. I feel the same way as them and this is why I want to have a challenge for the month of February of Spread Some Love.



I challenge everyone to make a comment or send a personal message to an author or an artist about their artwork or story they have written.

I challenge everyone to share a heartfelt comment on the piece of fanfiction and artwork being created in Fandom and on LJ.

There are so many writers and artists that are leaving and its very sad to see so many people leaving. Spread some love to those that you have taken the time to read, take a peek at artwork, and STOP to leave a warmth of love about the piece to read or looked at art. I have been on a writing journey myself and with everyone leaving it makes me wonder if I should continue on my journey. Well guess what? I AM STAYING!!! I read so many stories of ALL genres including pairings that are not my cup of tea. In order for people to keep in pushing through with stories they think should stop, I want to share with them not to stop but to keep going!!! Stay focused and share the story that you want to share with others. Your audience target is a small group of people that will follow your story compared to those who aren't part of the kink.

Please help me to Spread Some Love to those that are questioning their ability to write and support through this hard time in Fandom and LJ. We are all here for the love of the Show and I would hate to see others leave because they were treated unfairly.

December 27 - For marchia43 - What's your favourite band and album by that band, and why?


My favorite band is the Backstreet Boys!!!!!

As for my favorite album its a very hard decision, but I would say their most recent release.

Backstreet Boys - In A World Like This!!!!

It has all five original members of the band and it offers their fans hope for being who they are without being judged. Its a story to the fans for the journey the band members have been through over the years!!! I like how each member has the opportunity to sing compared to only certain members of the band. It also speaks to the journey I have been on in my life in general. Trying to speak up for myself and push those that want to bring me down, away and out of my life.

I'm late - so sorry. Mom came home and I helped her get re-adjusted into her home environment!!

December 13th - My sixth question was asked by dreamersdare

What would be your ultimate 'feel-good' day (what would you do and how would it make you feel)?


This is in a way very hard to answer, though I could use more 'feel-good' days in my life to be honest. I would love spending it with my closest girlfriends and strengthen our bond with each other. I would want to go out for breakfast and get a french toast with all the fixings on the side: hash browns, eggs, sausage links, and bacon!!! Just the thought of it and I want to go NOW!!!! Then we would head off towards the beach and lay in the sun and "try" to get a tan. LOL. It's not like a tan well to begin with. After basking in the sun, a dip into the ocean, for a quick cool down. Then share stories about what has been going on in our lives, including the ups and downs. Lunch would be a picnic on the beach; then a game of beach volley or other game appropriate for the beach, maybe even flying a kite. Then we would take a long walk along the beach and head to Fire and Ice, its a restaurant in Boston. Amazing food and drinks!!! After dinner we would get a massage to relax and pamper ourselves. Go home and watch a movie, passing around a tub of ice cream, most likely be chocolate chip cookie dough.

This would make me feel excited, thrilled, happy, joy, and like a little kid!! As much as I would do this with my friends I would even do this myself. I need it. I would joy it and bask in the reflection that I don't do it enough for myself. I love my friends, the ones really close to be that respect me and my feelings. Sometimes I feel like I have forgotten these emotions and what it truly feels to have these feelings. But mostly I would be very excited to spend my time with them and have our bond grow stronger and learn even more about them and myself through the time being spent together and through reflection!!! But yeah I would be the biggest kid there bouncing on my feet in triumphant that I got to have the best day of my life!!!

What's your worst sport related moment. Can be you observing a game or you participating.

I have been to many different sporting events and each event I have been to, I have only had great moments. I have been to a hockey game, multiple Lowell Spinner baseball games, rugby games, and soccer games.

Though a the worst moment for myself that I participated in is a different story. I take karate and I have been practicing the art for 15 years. Each year my karate school holds a tournament and most of the time I participate in the tournament. One year, during a sparring match with my best friend, I felt like the worst person ever. I went to throw a punch and well she decided to throw a punch too; MY punch landed on her throat, which was not my target at the time. So yeah I felt horrible and like an idiot for aiming high and punching her in the throat.

Talk about a fandom experience you feel was formative for you.

I remember exactly when, because I made a note to ask those in fandom on my WishList in 2007, which can be found here and two fabulous people helped me to understand the terminology of fan-fiction. Though I must say, I'm still confused by some of the terminology in fan-fiction to start with. As time goes on, I still ask questions about fandom and everyone is eager to respond and share with me. I asked about where to look for beta readers and alpha readers and the encouragement for writing and all have been so helpful and very informative.
