Update

Well, lately I have not thought at posting my thoughts here on LJ. I have not felt connected and struggled to complete my class.

I got a B in the class and quite thrilled the class is over. I made it through and I passed. The teacher was hard and had very high expectations. I learned valuable lessons about communication and the impact it has on myself and others.

Then I had a well-deserved vacation. I had a week off from school and I planned my vacation during this time. I went away to North Conway, New Hampshire. I love it there, its so peaceful and beautiful in nature. I went on some trail hikes and saw many trees down due to the 7 to 8 feet of snow we received in a 3-week period. The trails were blocked in many locations and had to turn back to the beginning. While I was on vacation I was able to complete my first draft of my Big Bang story. I felt very accomplished and proud of the work I created and put into my story. I feel like my writing style has come to light and it was all because of this story and my prompt. I have to thank apocalipskiss for the prompt to begin with and it top it all off she is my artist for my Big Bang story!!!

I spent 4 days up there enjoying the peace and quiet. I got to do what I wanted and loved every minute of it. I got to sleep in and have no cares what I was going to do that day. It was great to use the indoor pool and water slides. It was a blast and I was able to refresh myself.

I went to Twin Rivers Casino in Rhode Island with a friend and we money some money. We were able to use some coupons for food and souvenirs of our time there. We had fun but not sure if we would go back. It was small and the slot machines were not the greatest choices for the casino.

Then it was back to work and school. My class is about management and so far I am doing well. I find it interesting and excited and I dream of becoming a director someday in my career.

On Thursday, my grandmother who I call "Mem" which is short for Memere was sent to the hospital with complications with OCPD. The doctors said it had to do with all the pollen we have been having. She got sent home on Mother's Day. My Mom and I spent the day with her and had a small dinner. She is doing well and eating more too.

This was the day for claims for Big Bang. I was not worry or freaking out whether or not I would get claimed or not. I'm not quite known and I'm not the best writer out there. I was happy to have been claimed and to be claimed by a fantastic and wonderful artist!!! I'm very excited to work with her. Now I am on the hunt for a Beta for my story. My posting date is June 24th and I'm freaking out about it. It was a struggle to find one last year and I don't want to go through that again. I want someone who will work with me up until the 22nd of June so I have some time to post my story in lock mode before releasing it live. My artist cross-posted my post about the need for a beta and it's posted at spn_betas. Please let everyone you know that I am looking for a Beta and I need it very soon.

I posted a kind and loving message for Jared. I hope he feels better and gets the help he needs. He has helped so many people already, he deserves it himself. My prayers are with him and his family and friends who love and support him.

I am working on my friends story as an Alpha and so far it's amazing!!! She roped me in and I'm intrigued to see where it goes.

As for my story. I'm not feeling it at the moment. My heart isn't there to pick it up yet. I will be focusing on a scene and then look at the whole picture. I am not feeling myself and I have been watching Season 2 of Supernatural which has put a smile on my face. And I will continue to pray that Sam gets the opportunity to save his brother, Dean, who he loves unconditionally, even though Dean can't see it or is too afraid to see it and let it in.

Thank you. It was a very nice time to recollect myself and find myself again.

My grandmother is doing well and feeling much better.

All in all, things are looking up and better.
