Well, its been a long week, despite the wonderful long holiday weekend. My feelings and emotions are all over the place and I just wish I could find a little message in my inbox to cheer me up.

I wrote a few prompts for the recently meme things I noticed on LJ and no takers yet, though it would be great to see someone interested in the prompt.

Its getting to the end of the wire for me to post my story and I feel confident for 5 out of 6 chapters of my story. I feel that my epilogue is really short but goes start to the point in a nut shell.

Usually stories on LJ help me get through but sadly not lately. And I would love to read a story on hurt!Jensen/Dean with comfort!Jared/Sam with bottom!Jensen/Dean. Even a good mpreg or A/B/O story would fit the bill for me as well.

Just feel so down and blah and so afraid at the response regarding my story but very Happy and pleased with myself that its complete to my liking!!!

I know some people feel that they write for other people and it is other people's enjoyment that is important to them when it comes to sharing a story. I acknowledge the sentiment but ultimately, I think it's mistaken. We aren't writing for a living, we aren't writing to pay the bills;we're writing because we enjoy it and because we want to. For me, that changes the goalposts substantially.

Honey, if you had fun writing the story, if you feel accomplished and proud of yourself for doing it and if you like the story that you've written, then those are the important things. Don't worry about other people; when it comes down to it, some will enjoy, some won't and the vast majority won't give you any feedback anyway (because that's true of basically every story out there). The thing is, if you know that you enjoyed writing it and you're happy with what you achieved, none of those things really matter anyway. Ultimately, you didn't really write it for them anyway, you wrote it for yourself - I know you did, because I've seen you post about it over the last few years and the objective for you was always to write this story, not to share it :)

(and, for the record, you wrote a BB story, you should be proud of yourself. Those are no mean achievement, especially when you're trying to work and study at the same time. I think you need to give yourself a lot of credit).

(and, if no-one else writes your prompts, there's always the option to write them yourself. You're in practice at the moment :D)

Sweetie, don't loose hope.
Your story will be brilliant and sometimes the epilogues are short, there's no rule saying they have be gigantic in length.
I'll be looking out for your post that's for sure, can't wait to see the final product.
*hugs*

Afternoo. Sorry you aren't feeling 100% - hope my little message reaches you quickly.
With regards to the meme, I think you may have to give it time. Some people may be busy and will see it at a later stage and do it. Where did you post the prompt?
I am sure your story is going to be great - I love all the other ones I've read.
Unusually I don't have a rec for you as I haven't read any really good news ones in a while! LOL
Sorry
