Looks like my NEW iPod just shit the bed. Seriously? I have only had it a couple of months. Seriously? Apple sucks.

That is surely something you can take back to the shop though, right? If you lived over here, it would absolutely be covered under sale of goods legislation but I don't know how universal that is...
